LIEBHERR LB16-180 converted to low-head version at Danish jobsite

For foundation specialist Hercules, we converted our LIEBHERR drilling rig LB16-180 (available on the market since 2017) to a low-head version. To do this, a section of the mast was removed and the mast head replaced. In addition, a shorter kelly bar and shortened ropes were used.
The scope of delivery for this particular jobsite comprised a shorter CDA, shorter tools (drill buckets, augers) as well as casings with a diameter of 620 mm and a length of 1 and 2 metres.
The conversion was necessary to allow the work to be carried out in a production hall with limited height.
