The hardships and daily training have paid off for Benno Reichel. The 19-year-old will compete at the German Canoe Racing Championships in Cologne next week. In the single, he competes over the distances 200 and 5000 m. Now things will get tough – Benno will be competing in the professional class (men’s performance class) with Olympic and world champions.
