Many of you will recognize this sentence, and you will hear it countless times over the next few days...

The many crises meant that 2023 was indeed not a good year. Conflicts, tensions and terrorism worldwide and a government in this country … let’s not go there. It doesn’t fit so well with a contemplative review of the year. However, 2023 was also an excellent year in view of the many construction sites and projects that you completed and in which we were able to support you. We are still in awe of how much trust you have placed in us and it has been incredible to witness the dedication your colleagues and ours have shown in coping with this workload. Our greatest thanks go to all of you!
But now it’s time to sit back, relax, take time for friends, family and loved ones, for hobbies … and for doing nothing. The people of the Ore Mountains light a small incense burner, watch the smoke billow in the candlelight and enjoy the peace and the scent. Give it a try. Your soul will thank you!
Your BWH team from Hainichen
… and the smoke rises to the ceiling, we are all content.
