Wear on kelly bars is often an overlooked issue. Manufacturers are putting more and more drilling rigs on the market. They also offer more or less effective service solutions. But what happens with the wear on Kelly bars? The Kelly bar is a highly complex, wearing component whose functionality directly affects the operational capability and performance of your drilling rig. Since our company has more than 20 drilling rigs and over 25 Kelly bars in use, this is a topic we are very familiar with.
A non-operational Kelly bar almost always causes expensive construction site downtime.
Led by Heiko Schmidt, our team of experts, which consists of three to four colleagues depending on the workload, is always busy maintaining, refurbishing and repairing wear patterns or damage. It makes no difference whether the Kelly bars are from LIEBHERR, DELMAG or BAUER. Machine manufacturers are now also happy to make use of our many years of expertise and our service.
We would also be glad to assist you, our customers. After inspecting your Kelly bar, you will receive a cost estimate from us, which our experts will be happy to discuss with you and determine the extent of the repairs together with you. Please feel free to contact Denis Spielmann or Andreas Striegl from the rental and service team. They will also be happy to help you with a replacement Kelly bar for the duration of the repair.
