UPDATE: An Incredible €40,000 Donated for Children with Cancer

As promised, we’re delighted to share an update on our “Donations Instead of Gifts” campaign in celebration of BWH’s 30th anniversary.
At the anniversary event, we were already thrilled to announce donations totaling €10,000. During the celebration, Ms. Wenk from Sonnenstrahl e.V. spoke movingly about the charity’s invaluable work – supporting children with cancer, their families, and siblings from diagnosis through treatment, recovery, and, when necessary, in saying farewell to a beloved child. Her words deeply touched everyone present and reminded us why this cause matters so much.
That evening, we invited everyone to “dig deep” for this wonderful cause, promising that BWH would double all donations received from October 1 onward.
You responded with overwhelming generosity. The donations began to pour in – and you didn’t just open your hearts, you opened your wallets, too.
At our visit to Sonnenstrahl e.V. yesterday, we were proud to symbolically tear up the old cheque and present a new one for an astounding €40,000!

This success belongs to all of us, but most importantly, it brings hope and comfort to the children and families supported by Sonnenstrahl e.V.
